MILAN – Massimo Moratti spoke about the ongoing negotiations with Rafa Benitez in a brief interview with journalists outside the Saras offices on Monday evening.
He said: "There are no obstacles. Talks are proceeding as normal. I think we are close to concluding and yes, I think there will be an official announcement tomorrow.
"All the numbers I have read about (in the press) are wrong. We have decided to bet on Benitez because we believe he is the most useful person to keep Inter at the same level.
"We have talked about his collaborators but we haven’t talked about transfers yet."
