MILAN - It was a resounding Nerazzurri success at the Oscar del Calcio AIC 2010 awards ceremony held at the Auditorium di Milano on Monday evening. The Italian ‘Football Oscars’ are assigned to the best players, coach, referee and team of Serie A each year. As per tradition, there were eight main categories in the 14th edition of the event, which awarded the top performers of the 2009/10 season. The nominations for each category were compiled based on votes made by the footballers themselves last summer during the close season. Julio Cesar, Maicon, Diego Milito and Walter Samuel all won awards, while Inter was elected Team of the Year and Josè Mourinho was recognised for his achievements in 2010 with the Nerazzurri.
