MILAN – The five trophies that made 2010 a historical year on display on the pitch: five trophies to show off to the public of the Giuseppe Meazza stadium in the build-up to the first official game of 2011. They will be on display in the centre circle from 18:30 until the start of the teams’ warm-up, ready to soak up the worthy admiration: a unique opportunity for Inter fans ahead of the game with Napoli, preceded by a ceremony during which the FIFA official Walter Gagg awarded, to the president Massimo Moratti and the captain Javier Zanetti, the badge with the symbol of the Club World Cup recently won. A giant copy of the World Champions badge which the Nerazzurri will display on their jerseys.

APPIANO GENTILE – After approximately 2 hours, the last session of 2010 for the European and World Champions Inter, came to an end. The end of the year 2010 saw another important recovery: after an individual warm up, Joel Obi carried out the entire session with the team. The midfielder, born in 1991, suffered an injury during the first half of the derby game back on 15 November, and medical tests highlighted a serious second degree muscle strain to his femoral bicep in his left hamstring. Coutinho and Wesley Sneijder on the other hand both continued in their individual rehabilitation training programmes. And Paolo Orlandoni carried out a recovery session. As for the main group, after the warm-up, they carried out some exercises with the ball, and a training match on a reduced size pitch. Samuel Eto’o, Amantino Mancini, Walter Samuel (the defender is carrying out his rehab training after surgery over in Argentina), and David Suazo were still on leave of absence.
