APPIANO GENTILE - The Nerazzurri’s second training session of the week lasted about an hour this morning. After a warm-up phase, the players had a 9-a-side match on half of the pitch before ending with a series of training games.

Wesley Sneijder, Diego Forlan, Fredy Guarin and Yuto Nagatomo are away on international duty but Raffaele Di Gennaro, Cristiano Biraghi, Philippe Coutinho, Paolo Hernan Dellafiore, Jonathan and Luca Tremolada were all present. Julio Cesar got involved as an outfield player.

Ricardo Alvarez, Cristian Chivu, Lucio, Joel Obi and Dejan Stankovic trained separately  while Luc Castaignos followed a personalised programme aimed at getting him back to match fitness.

APPIANO GENTILE – The first of two training sessions finished earlier at the Centro Sportivo Angelo Moratti. Andrea Stramaccioni‘s side trained for around 60 minutes on the main pitch, against a backdrop of cheering and applause from the 200 children from the Inter football school. Wesley Sneijder, Diego Forlan, Fredy Guarin and Yuto Nagatomo were all on international duty, while Cristiano Biraghi, Philippe Coutinho, Hernan Della Fiore, Jonathan and Luca Tremolada all trained with the first team. Julio Cesar was with the squad but this time as an outfielder! Cristian Chivu, Lucio, Andrea Ranocchia, Joel Obi and Dejan Stankovic all trained separately. Luc Castaignos did a session of light training. Ricardo Alvarez underwent an operation as the Inter medical staff used arthroscopy to remove cartilage from his knee.

APPIANO GENTILE – With
president Massimo Moratti watching on, Inter trained for the final time this
morning ahead of the trip to Rome for tomorrow’s game with Lazio. Wesley
Sneijder complained of muscle pain during the session. Walter Samuel and Diego
Forlan did specific, individual training. Joel Obi did physiotherapy, while Luc
Castaignos, Cristian Chivu and Dejan Stankovic all did light training. Julio
Cesar was given the day off as he is suspended for tomorrow’s clash.
