ABU DHABI - "We’ve watched their games from last season’s African Champions League and the ones they’ve played so far in this competition. Mazembe are a hard-working team, very strong physically, and they have some skillful individuals. A tough opponent." That was how Rafael Benitez described the side his Inter team will face in tomorrow evening’s final at the Zayed Sports City Stadium, which is where the coach answered questions from Italian and foreign journalists at today’s press conference. "Playing against the best African team is a reason to be proud: it’s a huge moment for Africa but for Inter too, because this will be remembered as a historic Club World Cup final. How do I feel? We’re about to play a final that decides who is the best team in the world – we’re going to go for it. It’s the last game of 2010 and I expect to play and win lots more in 2011."

ABU DHABI - "We changed everything, right from the beginning because of Sneijder’s injury and I fear he may have to miss the final next Saturday; but the team showed their character, they respected the opponent, and they won with a touch of class." Rafael Benitez pointed out the merits of the Inter team this evening; merits that allowed the side to win by three goals to nil against the South Korean side Seongnam. Now in the final they will meet the African team Mazembe: "I saw our next opponents, they are worthy of respect and we have to prepare the game well. The return of the injured players gave us reassurance, there is still some athleticism lacking, but the difference was visible."
