MILAN - (ANSA) "Every game is like a final, it should be played with that spirit and if you do that the results will come." Speaking in Abu Dhabi on the sidelines of Pirelli’s presentation ahead of their second Formula 1 season, Marco Tronchetti Provera, Pirelli president, Inter shareholder and renowned Nerazzurri fan, wouldn’t say the word "Scudetto", but he did praise the team for getting back to their previous level of competitiveness: "It’s been a magnificent turnaround. Ranieri has done a great job, instilling the right mentality in the players and they have got it together again, to the joy of all the fans." Did you expect it? "For those of us who lived the first weeks of the season as I did, this comeback was unexpected. But it has come, deep down we always believed it was possible, and now we must try to finish in the Champions League places."

APPIANO GENTILE – There was a final training session this morning for the Nerazzurri who will play Lazio this evening at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in the Week 19 match of the 2011/12 Serie A season (kick-off at 20:45). Claudio Ranieri had the group undergo a warm-up and muscle activation exercises. Soon the group will meet up for lunch.

APPIANO GENTILE – inter.it is alongside the team as they prepare for tomorrow’s match against Lazio, the 2011/12 Serie A Week 19 fixture kicking off at the Stadio Meazza at 20:45.

MILAN - The Nerazzurri were split into three groups at the Centro Sportivo Angelo Moratti this morning for the team’s final training session ahead of tomorrow’s game against Lecce.
The main group – consisting of all the fit players – warmed up before going through a series of technical and tactical drills.
Andrea Poli and Dejan Stankovic (muscle fatigue) trained separately doing specific work.
The third group consisted of players recovering from injury: Cristian Chivu, Jonathan, Wesley Sneijder and Emiliano Viviano continued with their individual rehabilitation programmes.

APPIANO GENTILE – Marco Branca was present at the Centro Sportivo Angelo Moratti this morning as the Nerazzurri had their final training session – a 50-minute workout – before the league match against Cesena tomorrow, Sunday 18 December 2011.
Cristian Chivu and Wesley Sneijder were absent as they are unavailable and have been given some time off but Andrea Ranocchia was back in training with the rest of the group.
Jonathan and Emiliano Viviano followed their individual rehabilitation programmes.
Lorenzo Crisetig will join the Primavera squad tomorrow ahead of Tuesday’s NextGen Series match against PSV in Eindhoven.
